	SM-5A Depthmate Portable Depth Sounder with External Transducer   Depthmate model SM-5A has an external transducer at the end of a 12 foot wire for accuracy at a distance.   Features  The SM-5A makes it easy if it's not possible for you to reach the water with the SM-5 depthsounder. With the transducer at the end of a 12ft wire, the unit can be used from boats, mounted inside or outside of the hull, or on a pole or boathook. The transducer fitting is waterproof, however, it is not for underwater use and cannot be submerged. This unit can be converted to an SM-5 with the purchase of the EC-5 (see accessories page).
