For more than a decade, Fire Mountain Solar has been providing complete turnkey solutions for residential and commercial clients interested in green power.  As with many contractors who have been around since before renewable energy became the “in” thing, our first experience was an off-grid installation project – the founders’ home.

It all started in 1996 as simply a way to bring power to a beautiful 20-acre parcel in northwestern Washington State.  From there the highly successful project became the means to liberate an entire off-grid neighborhood that had been running on generators and batteries for many years.

Since then our vision and scope have steadily expanded.  Today, from our solar and wind powered office building, we provide design assistance, product solutions, and shipping and technical support services to end-users and renewable energy contractors nationwide, as well as installation services to Washington State customers, .
