Simplicity Itself

When sunlight strikes the collectors in the SunSiphon system, it heats food-grade antifreeze within them, which then rises due to natural convection into the jacket-style heat exchanger at the bottom of the storage tank. There the antifreeze transfers the heat into the tank heating your water.  As it becomes cooler, the antifreeze sinks to the bottom of the collectors where the process is repeated.
